【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardsupportstheinterestofsoftwareusersinreceivingconsistent,complete,accurate,andusabledocumentation.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheprocessinwhichuserdocumentationproductsaretested.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedneithertoencouragenordiscouragetheuseofeitherprintedorelectronic(on-screen)mediafordocumentation,orofanyparticulardocumentationtestingormanagementtoolsormethodologies.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesprocessesforuseintestingandreviewingofuserdocumentation(Clause5).Itisnotlimitedtothetestandreviewphaseofthelifecycle,butincludesactivitiesthroughouttheInformationManagementandDocumentationManagementprocesses.ThisInternationalStandardprovidestheminimumrequirementsforthetestingandreviewingofuserdocumentation(Clause6),includingbothprintedandon-screendocumentsusedintheworkenvironmentbytheusersofsystemssoftware.Itappliestoprintedusermanuals,onlinehelp,tutorials,anduserreferencedocumentation.TheorderofclausesinthisInternationalStandarddoesnotimplythatthesoftwareuserdocumentationshouldbetestedinthisorder.Ineachclause,therequirementsaremedia-independent,asfaraspossible.TheinformativechecklistsfoundinAnnexesAandBmaybeusedateachphaseofthedocumentationprocesstoverifythattheappropriatestepshavebeencarriedout,andthatthefinishedproducthasacceptablequality.
