【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsforsafeworkingpractices(supportedbytraining)for:—ownersofpermanentlyinstalledliftsservingdefinedlandinglevels;—personshavingeffectivecontrolofthepremiseswheresuchliftsareinstalled;—personsresponsiblefor,andinvolvedin,thedesign,installation,thoroughexamination,inspection,testing,service,maintenance,repairanddismantlingofsuchlifts.NOTERequirementsforliftsandassociatedpartsofliftinstallationsarenotincludedinthiscodeofpractice;thesearegiveninothertypesofstandardsuchasspecificationsandtestmethods.TherecommendationsinthisBritishStandardrelatetothesafetyofpersonswhengainingaccesstoandfromtheworkareaonaliftinstallation,andwhilstworkingthere.Theyalsorelatetothesafetyofotherspresentinthevicinity,whethertheyareworkingornot,whocouldbeendangeredbytheactionsofthoseworkingonlifts.ThisBritishStandardisapplicabletopersonsworkingonalltypesoflift.However,noteveryrecommendationisapplicableforalltypesofliftthatarecoveredbyBritishStandardseitherpublishedorinpreparation.ForliftsthathavebeendesignedandinstalledinaccordancewiththeLiftsRegulations1997[2],therecommendationsinthisstandardthataffectproductdesigndonotapply.NOTELegalresponsibilitiesforthesafetyofpersonsworkingonliftsaresummarizedinAnnexA,togetherwithtitlesoftherelevantUKlegislation.
