【摘要】:Themeasurementofhydrogensulfideinnaturalgasisimportantbecauseofthegasqualityspecifications,thecorrosivenatureofH2Sonpipelinematerials,andtheeffectsofH2Sonutilizationequipment.Thistestmethodprovidesinexpensivefieldscreeningofhydrogensulfide.Thesystemdesignissuchthatitmaybeusedbynontechnicalpersonnelwithaminimumofpropertraining.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforarapidandsimplefielddeterminationofhydrogensulfideinnaturalgaspipelines.Availabledetectortubesprovideatotalmeasuringrangeof0.5ppmbyvolumeupto40%byvolume,althoughthemajorityofapplicationswillbeonthelowerendofthisrange(thatis,under120ppm).1.2Typically,sulfurdioxideandmercaptansmaycausepositiveinterferences.Insomecases,nitrogendioxidecancauseanegativeinterference.Mostdetectortubeswillhavea"precleanse"layerdesignedtoremovecertaininterferencesuptosomemaximuminterferentlevel.Consultmanufacturers''instructionsforspecificinterferenceinformation.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
