【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsformaterialsusedinthepracticeofdentistryfortherestorationoftheformandfunctionofthedentitionandwhicharemedicaldevices.Forthepurposesofthisstandardthesematerialsaredefinedasrestorativeandorthodonticmaterials.DentalimplantsarespecificallyexcludedanddescribedinEN1642.Thisstandardalsospecifiesgeneralrequirementsformaterialsusedinthepracticeoforthodontics.Thisstandardincludesrequirementsforintendedperformance,designattributes,components,sterilization,packaging,marking,labelling,andinformationsuppliedbythemanufacturer.Testsfordemonstratingcompliancewiththisstandardarecontainedinthelevel3standards,ifappropriate.
