【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedforthecalibrationofablock-on-ringtestingmachinebymeasuringthefrictionandwearpropertiesofacalibrationfluidundertheprescribedtestconditions.Theuserofthistestmethodshoulddeterminetohisorherownsatisfactionwhetherresultsofthistestprocedurecorrelatewithfieldperformanceorotherbenchtestmachines.Ifthetestconditionsarechanged,wearvaluescanchangeandrelativeratingsoffluidscanbedifferent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecalibrationandoperationofablock-on-ringfrictionandweartestingmachine.1.2ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
